PYO FAQs

Do I need to book a slot?

There is no need to book a slot for PYO raspberries, however, you will need to book a ticket for PYO strawberries which you can do through our website.

Can I bring my own punnets/containers?

Due to the pandemic, you cannot bring your own punnets or containers for PYO. Instead, you must pick up a new one from the farm shop but don’t worry, once things go back to normal, you’ll be able to bring your own containers again.

Will PYO still be open if it rains?

As all our fruit is under polytunnels, you’ll be safe from the rain whilst picking but you might get a little wet on the walk down! Feel free to give us a call to find out if PYO is open or to find out how muddy it is down there.

Are your strawberries on the ground or table tops?

Our strawberries are positioned on table tops to keep the fruit as healthy as possible but don’t worry, the fruit still hangs low enough for children to reach.

Are dogs allowed in the polytunnels/fields?

We do allow your furry friends on the farm but they must be on a lead and they are not allowed in the polytunnels.

Is there pushchair/wheelchair access?

Yes! There is access for pushchairs and wheelchairs although sometimes the ground can be uneven or muddy.

Can I fly drones?

You are not allowed to fly drones over the farm.

What are the opening hours?

Our PYO opening times vary depending on the quantity of fruit available but you can check our Facebook page each day to find out what time we’re open or give us a call.
