PYO blackberries are a late summer crop and open from mid-July to late August.
They are grown in a similar way to raspberries and picked exactly the same. You’ve just got to be careful not to squash them as they’re so delicate!
Blackberries go deliciously in an apple pie or crumble, blitzed into a smoothie or turned into cordial and added to cider!
